PARENT HELPER ROSTER
There are around 200 parent helper shifts to fill for the Auskick season! It's all hands on deck.
Auskick is not a drop and run after school care session where your kids' skills will be developed by someone else, it's a community effort & all parents are expected to contribute.
Around 50-60 kids sign up for Auskick per season, that's way more than 1 volunteer parent Head Coach can juggle. Your kids will love seeing you join in plus its a great way to meet parents. The Auskick coordinator will let you know when your help is needed.
As part of the Junior activities of the Boddington Football Club, the Auskick division is given the opportunity to co-ordinate and keep all proceeds from hosting two home game dinners during our local football season.
All funds are set aside especially for the purpose of buying new equipment and coaching resources especially for use for Auskick kids. Parents are called on to donate a pre-prepared bulk meal (such as casserole) and a few helpers are required on the night.
Home game dinners are a short shift from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm and are a fun way to pitch in and meet a few other parents. The Auskick coordinator will let you know when these are happening and when your help is needed.
Registration & fees must be completed online through the AFL Auskick website. Click through to the AFL website below and type in Boddington Postcode 6390.
Come to Registration Day to meet the coaches & co-ordinators, other players and parents plus find out about what help we need from parents / carers. Usually takes place the last week of school term one, with training sessions beginning the first week back term two.
Keep an eye out for a red flyer coming home via school or ad in Bodd News community newsletter.
